Mum of 3, Jia says

“Whitewebbs is truly a little gem of a museum. It is run by enthusiastic volunteers who will happily explain the history of the different vehicles. There are 4 floors in the main building full of vintage vehicles and memorabilia, and on the very top floor there are vintage doll prams that children are able to push around. Outside there is an old Routemaster bus and vintage fire engines. Don’t forget to pop inside the old train carriage which houses a fantastic model railway. The cafe is very reasonably priced and there are picnic tables outside. Parking is also free.”

RAF Museum London

The RAF Museum recently reopened after a multi-million pound redevelopment. We’ve yet to visit the improved site, but it includes a new cafe, an outdoor play area (suitable for under 11s) and a picnic area, as well as three new galleries which explore the RAF’s first 100 years.
