New Direction

It’s been a long time since I have blogged, and there are only so many times I can use sleep deprivation as an excuse. (The boys both started sleeping through consistently about six months ago, so I’ve got my brain cells more or less back up and running now. Hurrah!)

Truthfully, writing a wholly personal blog didn’t come very easily to me. Coupled with the fact that ‘twins’ as a niche is pretty restrictive, it became a bit of a chore to write.

Somewhere along the line, I realised there was a site missing for mums like me in Barnet. So, rather than write a personal blog I don’t really enjoy, why not put something back into the community that’s helping me raise the Two Little Misters?

There will still be personal posts, craft ideas and anything else I think that other parents will find useful. But I have also added a calendar to the homepage, where I’ll be adding local events such as playgroups and drop-in activities. It’s somewhere that parents can come to check what’s on each week and find ideas for things to do. I’ve summed up my ideas for the site on the About page, if you fancy a read. I hope that those of you who don’t live in the area stick around to follow the journey as we take a new direction.

Do get involved! Whether you have your own recommendation, an event to add to the calendar, an idea or feedback, I would love to hear from you.

I’ve loved reading your blog, who knew I’d join you in the twin boys club! Maybe it was all the reading… 😳 lol. I’ll still be checking in xxx

It’s nice to read that you’re back even if you’re planning to do something a little different x
