Living Arrows 7/52

Living Arrows Quote

It was a gloomy, cold week all round and both the boys have had colds so we didn’t feel up to much. We pretty much hibernated, but I must say it was lovely to have a slow start to Sunday. The boys woke at 6:30am and came into our bed for cuddles and CBeebies for half an hour while the house warmed up. I took this photo in the afternoon. I set the boys’ high chairs up side by side in the kitchen ready to bake some muffins. They ‘helped’ put the paper cases in the tin and did some stirring. (Douglas may also have managed to eat a spoonful of sugar, eek!) Then, while the muffins baked, I gave them some bowls, spoons and whisks to play with. The bowls just so happened to also make hilarious hats…!

Hope you’ve had a good week?

Ah, they’re so cute! Those bowls definitely make great hats! It’s been such a gloomy week here too, we’ve been enjoying lots of indoor activities too – starting to get into baking with my toddler a bit more these days, now he can ‘help’ a little bit. #livingarrows

Great play items. N still loves playing with bowls now at age 6! #livingarrows

Oh they are the cutest! They really do look like double the fun and there really is nothing like baking with Mummy. I hope the muffins turned out well! x

That’s a gorgeous photo! Bowls as toys are the best.
