Review – Kosy Baby Bandana Bibs

Having baby twins who’ve both had their share of sicky days and are now firmly into the early teething stage, we don’t half get through a lot of bibs in this house! Often I would change a bib after only a few minutes’ worth of wear and would find their clothes wet underneath. So I was constantly on the hunt for something better that would pass my rigorous Dribble Test!

Scrolling through my Instagram feed last week, I came across Kosy Baby and wondered if I had finally found the perfect solution!

Kosy Baby was set up by mum-of-two Amanda, focussing on great basics that perform well. Their bandana bibs are made from Oeko Tex certified cotton fabrics and are backed with highly absorbent micro-fleece. These bibs had me at ‘highly absorbent’ but when I saw the style and range of gorgeous prints on offer I knew I had to order a few to try. Also, I always like to support a small business so it was a no brainer.

I chose two bibs from each of the two ranges. The ‘fun’ style is smaller while the ‘premium’ range gives more coverage and is made from organic cotton with a softer print fabric. It was so hard to choose between the lovely prints, but in the end I went for ‘Doe a Deer’, ‘Prepster’, ‘Clouds and ‘Grey Arrows’.

The bibs arrived swiftly in the post and we couldn’t wait to try them out. I was pleased to find that they look just as good as they do on the website – the fabrics are very soft, the prints are vivid and overall they are well-made and sturdy. The fit has been well thought out – there are two nickel-free poppers so you can adjust the size as your baby grows. Also, it fits well under the chin without being too bulky.

Here’s Arthur modelling ‘Clouds’ from the Premium range:

I would say that with my boys being on the smaller side at nearly 5 months old, the ‘Fun’ range bibs will be a better fit for them at the moment – that’s not to say the larger bibs won’t do the job just as well, it’s just that smaller looks a bit neater on them.

And as for the Dribble Test? Even after a few hours’ wear (and lots of saliva…), the back of the bibs remained completely dry – I am impressed and will be back for more!

Bibs in the Fun range retail at £4.00 each, and bibs in the Premium range are £5.00 each.

They are so lovely and bright! When the boys were tiny I favoured pastel shades but now I love to see them in bright colours x
